Gallery Xue / London and Compton’s Live are hosting Vanessa Blaylock’s new performance artwork VB29 – Natatorium this Saturday, 17 December from 6-8pm GMT.
In her past 3 years of virtual performance works, Vanessa Blaylock has explored the human body, body image, and identity in the 21st century. Inspired by this summer’s coming London Olympic Games, in the site-specific work “VB29 – Natatorium” Vanessa Blaylock / Company will explore a counterpoint to the super-human speed that spectators will experience in the London Aquatics Center.
This performance is graciously made possible by all the wonderful people at London City, especially Torric Rodas, Operations Manager, and Architect Manager Billy Arentire.
